They wanted sexual freedom for men AND women. They got it. Now they decry it.
The punishment should fit the crime. If a man stares at a woman’s breasts, which she enhances with a push-up bra and reveals by wearing a low cut top, I say he’s guilty of being a healthy heterosexual man. He should learn how to enjoy how beautiful women are, without leering. Occasions where it is appropriate for women to sparkle should be enjoyable, which requires not leering. In the old days, the punishment was social approbation. Not ruining somebody for life. But, if leering at a woman’s breasts is disqualifying, wouldn’t this apply to Hillary Clinton and the times she has leered? And, what about Barack Obama noticing shapely females butts?
Here’s the problem with not differentiating misdemeanors from felonies. It makes the felony for free. An example is President Jimmy “self-righteous” Carter, who said if he coveted a woman in his heart, he has committed adultery. That makes adultery for free, once you have the temptation. Being self-controlled means overcoming temptation, not attempting to be so removed from this world, that you’re not tempted. As Christians, we’re to be in, but not of the world. We’re not supposed to renounce this world, like the Buddhist Monks supposedly do.
What’s Probably coming is the return of the CHAPERONE....for the guys...
