Uh-oh! It looks as though DiFi (or as Clarice Feldman calls her, ChiFi) has an inkling that that traps may be springing and witnesses singing in ways that will not help the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee and beyond. Yesterday, she said of the forthcoming FBI report demanded by Judiciary Committee Dems plus Flake, "It would seem to me that if people are going to be identified, this ought to be held very close."
Wait! I thought the American people had a right to know!
For reasons known to himself but not me, Mitch McConnell agrees:
McConnell confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that the report will only be seen by senators and will not be made publicly available.
Is Mitch planning to use it for leverage, threatening to expose bad behavior by Judiciary Committee Dems? Or the witness Blasey Ford? Or her well connected lawyers?

Exactly. The Democrats are counting on the report remaining confidential. That way, even if it completely exonerates Judge Kavanaugh, the Democrats will look the public in the eye and say "There are a number of troubling facts in this report regarding the behavior of Brett Kavanaugh that disqualify him from consideration for the Supreme Court."
Yep, we have to plead for “our side” to do the right thing.
And.....yes what will be leaked will only cement the fact that this was a witch hunt.
They will run had and fast from this charade leading up to the mid terms.
There is GREAT FEAR running thru the Democratic camp.
Some Senate Judiciary Committee staffer will leak the FBI report.
In DC, that's a given.
We paid for the report, via the FBI’s salaries. The people have a right to know.

If Ford's ex's story holds up about Ford coaching McClean for her FBI polygraph, McClean could be in trouble.
Everybody knows lying to the FBI is a felony, even if and especially if, your are in their employee.
Trump is all about ratings. What better way to boost your ratings than say you will reveal the results of the FBI investigation at a rally?
Do not believe her.
CHIFI is so accurate and appropriate to define her.
What does ChiFi mean? I must be especially thick today.
