Rumor was there was something “wrong” with the adoption of his kids and they were going to move against him IF he didn’t get his mind “straight.” A good man will sometimes do a lot of things he hates, and regrets, to save his children.
Someone got to Roberts. Hopefully, the swamp draining will someday help sort that out too.
