The more the left continues to lose, the more radicalized they will become.

Let some of these states leave, so they no longer rule the rest of us. Vermont, Oregon ...

Oh heck. Nuke Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and L A. and the entire problem would go away.

The UN and China don’t want control over Oregon or Vermont. They want California with its resources and ports. Screw them.

The problem is multiculturalism, diversity, and illegal aliens. Complicate this with an education system that is anti-American. My kids school for example this week, one boy was simply told Columbus was bad, another got zero mention of Columbus all day. A previous year they were told Columbus Day was simply a banking holiday!

FIRST, let’s see some NINETY TO TEN PERCENT VICTORIES IN SOME STATES.

Before everyone here gets all “the south shall rise again!!”, remember that 40 percent is a pretty big ####ing number, so if a state even goes 60 to 40 for a president, that’s not a state that wants to break away.

As usual, people here care what one IDIOT is saying in an article.

Besides CA, which is NUTS, and i bet it doesn’t pass THERE, the proposition, no one wants to “secede”.

I think too much winning around here is making people lose their minds and look for truth in nonsense.

There are two nations in the country with seemingly irreconcilable differences. One wants freedom, industry, and a guiding constitution. The other wants control, dependence, and subservience to the state.

That’s a divide that defies unity.

I would prefer to just physically remove the socialist vermin from the country and put them in full-fledged socialist countries that already exist. And then never let them back in ever again.

And if they dont want to go peacefully I have a plan for that too.

"It's long past time to allow Kansans to live as they see fit..."

Kind of the point of states, no? Let states make their own laws without the constant interference of big fed telling their residents who they have to bake for or what kind of firearms they can own? It shouldn't take a civil war, or secession to allow states to live as they see fit.

Are these people completely screwed in their brains and living in their own fantasy world? Yes and yes. You secede and you die until such time as the survivors give up. That’s been settled.

I would not mind one bit if we had a friendly separation. Neither side can stand the other so why continue with the misery.

The solution is really simple. We must go back to true Constitutional Law as originally defined. Each Republic State can see fit to define its own laws so long as they do not violate The Constitution.

Per the Tenth Amendment:

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”

Our present turmoil is the result of the disregard of the Tenth Amendment. This disregard is a direct result of an activist Judaical system that has become a defacto legislative body.

Let each state determine its destiny so long as it does not violate the Constitution. Some states will prosper. Some states will become disasters. The disasters will be California, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts etc. All are hard left states. They will be disasters because of socialism just as Venezuela today once the most prosperous nation in South America. I lived there during the good times and it was very good.

"We are going to rely on the deep hatred for California that exists in red America."

we don't hate California; just the invaders, leftist America haters, sexual deviants, hypocrites, losers and morons that prevail there.

We don’t need to break apart. Just send all liberal wackadoodles and their we’re so special interest groups to New York. Build a wall round it and cede it to French Canada. Problem solved.

Secession to any extent merely deludes our ability to field a military and maintain a global presence.

Advocacy from the Leftists or the Right undermines our global presence.

If California leaves the nation, lop off 13% of the national GDP. Lop off 13% of federal tax receipts. Add up five or ten states, and soon you’ve lopped off 25% or more of our federal tax revenue.

It’s hard enough to service the U. S. National debt now.

Imaging 15 states leaving the union and 33% of the Federal Tax receipts being lost.

Folks need to think long and hard about this. If California left we would lose our warmest water ports on the Pacific.

It’s a terrible idea, but it does accomplish the Left’s goals. The United States would cease to be a global player.

That’s one way of blocking our productive contribution.

It’s just another form of treason > IMO. I realize it doesn’t qualify for the time honored form of Treason, but it still qualifies in my book.

The left are okay with feces and needle strewn streets, latin American levels of brutal street crime, and rampant government corruption. This is not a simple difference of opinion, it’s civil society vs the mobs and their handlers.

That fight has been fought once. Those lefty states are not nearly as organized nor as motivated as the original crew.

They think they know what will come....they do not

The source of this problem & others is that Congress has routinely ignored the 10th Amendment & the USSC has allowed it.

The Feds should have never been allowed to control health, education, welfare, & other aspects of our society. One size does not fit all.

If states had been allowed authority over these public functions, we would have had 50 different ways of providing these public functions. Some states would fail, while other would have succeeded. Failed socialist policies in states such as California would be painfully obvious when compared to capitalist states. Voters in failed states would be in a better position to end failed policies by either referendum or voting out stupid politicians. The chances of suffering from bad government policies would be divided by 50, & people who are dissatisfied with state policies would have 49 other options more satisfying to their political inclinations.

As it stands now, populous liberal states have an outsized influence in the House of Representatives, which controls taxes & expenditures. Money cannot be spent or saved without House approval. The result is a 20+ Trillion dollar debt & very expensive but failed national health, education & welfare systems, controlled by un-elected bureaucrats (overwhelmingly liberal) in WDC.

The idea that 535 elected politicians have the best answers for 350 million people in 50 different states has long passed its expiration date.

Federal government should be limited to relations with other nations, providing for national security & defense, & settling disputes between states. THAT’s IT! Nothing more!

I'm happy to see them wasting time and energy on such a foolhardy notion. It's unconstitutional, period. Good luck getting ⅔ of Congress and states to ratify a constitutional amendment to allow it.

Problem with this is every red state has a huge population percentage of liberal wacko’s. Look at what’s going on in the polls of Tenn, GA, FLA, IND, etc.

The red states have a huge percentage of liberals, and the blue states still have a significant percentage of conservatives - except for NE states like RI and Conn.

You can’t “nuke” any state because you’d be killing a lot of your own “family”.....quite a stupid idea.

No - seccession is not an alternative.

The only alternative is to take back all our educational system and 1.) no one knows how to do that; 2.) the horse is already out of the barn and in 10 years dumbed-down, brainwashed, emotionally immature idiots will have dominant percentage control in every state.
