Investigators now say the woman who accused three Bellevue officers of rape has a history of making false accusations.
Bellevue, WA – Prosecutors have dropped the charges against a now-former police officer who served 49 days in jail because of what investigators now say were fake rape allegations.

Probably judgment proof. Why sue anyway, their lives were ruined. Ever happened to me, their least problem would be worrying about a suit. Also, who was the prosecutor, Nifong??
People lie.Men lie.Women lie.One of the many situations where some women might be inclined to lie is when they think they see a way to get a big payoff from a police department by claiming that a cop raped them when,in fact,no rape occurred.
Unless as a defendant, I don’t think Mikey is even allowed near a courtroom.
They can sue the city and easily win a sizable judgment.
And so it begins!
The only lasting legacy from the Kavanaugh circus may well be MEN now looking suspiciously at ANY CHARGES filed by women, regardless of circumstances.
I know that I will do just that for now on - so women, if you want to accuse a man of rape when I’m on the jury, you better bring some SOLID EVIDENCE, or you won’t stand a chance with me.

Those three guys got off easy. I know of one man who lost everything over false allegations and couldn’t take it anymore so blew his brains out. The gal then admitted she’d lied. Of course, nothing was done about it.
EXCELLENT POINT - I remember that now. No one believed Monica at the time, and everyone believed Clinton’s denial. In fact, Maryland Albright (Secretary of State at the time, I think), was (apparently) really pissed about defending his lie, once the truth came out. (needless to say, she continued to support him, though)

False accusers should be subject to the same penalties their alleged perps were exposed to.
