They say “200 pound bomb” but what does that mean? 200 pounds of black powder (which is a LOT of black powder), 100 pounds of container? It’s one of those impressive numbers the media likes to get hold of and throw around, but what does it mean?

The question that’s been bugging me is how he was going to get that 200 Lb. bomb out of his basement and transported to wherever he intended to detonate it?

TATP would be a good guess. It’s a favorite with terrorists, ingredients are easy to get, and it’s easy to make.

It’s also a high explosive and hard to detect.

The guy is a dictionary definition NUT. He’s angry because instead of elections he thinks we should choose POTUS and Congress AT RANDOM.

Prosecutors said he planned to use the bomb to kill himself and draw attention to a political system called sortition, in which public officials are chosen randomly rather than elected.

Bill Buckley once said he would prefer to be governed by 100 people randomly chosen from the Boston telephone directory, than the faculty of Harvard.

Apparently, it was gunpowder (or black powder).

He just ordered 200lbs of it.

Jeez, that’s not how you do it. If you are planning that far ahead you should know that’s kind of a red flag.

But then again, if you are doing that—you probably are not open to advice.

A 180 lbs of sugar, 20 lbs of kicker charge and two flares would make one hell of a bang.

Yep, sugar is full of energy potential and can be quite explosive with the right additives, yet no one would suspect someone carrying it around. Following article is for example purposes only, I don’t advocate its use.

"Was the guy a demoncrat?"

If he were a Republican, it would be blaring 24/7 from the fifth-column leftist news media.

Makes one wonder how many more nut jobs with bombs are out there, if one got caught. Uncertain times, indeed.
