Facing the prospect of bruising electoral defeat in congressional elections, President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he wont accept the blame if his party loses control of the House in November, arguing his campaigning and endorsements have helped Republican candidates.
In a wide-ranging interview three weeks before Election Day, Trump told The Associated Press he senses voter enthusiasm rivaling 2016 and he expressed cautious optimism that his most loyal supporters will vote even when he is not on the ballot. He dismissed suggestions that he might take responsibility, as his predecessor did, for midterm losses or view the outcome as a referendum on his presidency.
No, I think Im helping people, Trump said. I dont believe anybodys ever had this kind of an impact.
Trump spoke on a range of subjects, defending Saudi Arabia from growing condemnation over the case of a missing journalist, accusing his longtime attorney Michael Cohen of lying under oath and flashing defiance when asked about the insult Horseface he hurled at Stormy Daniels, the porn actress who accuses him of lying about an affair.
Asked if it was appropriate to insult a womans appearance, Trump responded, You can take it any way you want.
Throughout much of the nearly 40-minute interview, he sat, arms crossed, in the Oval Office behind the Resolute Desk, flanked by top aides, including White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and communications director Bill Shine. White House counselor Kellyanne Conway listened from a nearby sofa.

I tend to disagree democrats being like the Borg. It’s so much easier to be unified in opposition than it is being unified in leadership. While not legislative, look at the backlash from Dems that Warren is getting for her DNA test. There has been Dem talk that the lady dem rep candidate from Staten Island is not only too far left for Staten Island, but also for the party in general.

Why should he? Trump has delivered on everything he can. The House refused funding for the wall...thanks traitor Ryan
New rules. We win. They lose. I will vote anti D no matter what in every election until they are crushed. Right now that means I vote R. Primaries are for ideology. The General is to kick snot out of dems
Pre-Midterm mindgames bump for later.....
Trump is saying he worked hard to keep it and he did!
Isn't that the Rolling Stones song that gets played at the end of a Trump Rally...?....>

You get what you need

Did the media imply that Barack Obama was to blame for the Democrats losing the House during his first midterm election in 2010?
Will they give him credit of the GOP keeps the house and even widens its hold? Of course not. For that they’ll have excuses.
