I’m for nukes, btw, but I still like the tune.

This is a blip compared to the size of the Pacific and the natural radiation released especially by deep sea volcanic vents. Humans are so arrogant regarding their scale vs. the Earth.

If the percentage were any higher, the Pacific could qualify for minority status at Harvard.

How many gallons of water are in the Pacific Ocean? 187,000,000,000,000,000,000 gallons, or 187 quintillion.

One metric ton of water = 264.17 U.S. gallons, so one million tons = 264 million gallons.

Do the math on the ratios.

Since 1945 there have been 2053 nuclear bomb tests done on both land, and many in the oceans.

One would think the oceans should glow at night.

“We will filter the water in the tanks one more time to bring the levels to below regulatory limits before release into the ocean if a decision is made to do so,” the Tepco spokesman said.

Another factor that is misunderstood is that water cannot get radioactive. Things IN the water can, but the water cannot. That’s one of the reasons they use water to cool nuclear reactors.
