INHO this is a very bad move by President Trump because inviting UN apparatchiks to determine who is eligible for admittance to our country is a terrible precedent.

Asylum rules are that they stop at first country. UN can’t send them here unless we agree by having an agreement.

I can’t imagine Trump put a greeter this. He has been anti UN the whole time, and pro America. He wouldn’t let the UN make our decisions for us. Perhaps the UN could go ahead and make their own decision to send them to some other country besides here.

You people need to read the article. The UN personnel can grant asylum to enter Mexico not the US.

In addition, those caught trying to enter the US illegally are immediately turned over to Mexico.

Another victory for the President.
