Though the MSM concentrates on the sob stories of grandmas & widows & orphans among the marchers, notice how in all photos of the overall crowds, the average demographic appears to be the prime recruiting age & gender for MS-13 members, drug mules, etc.
Perhaps "fleeing (1)violence and (2)poverty" really means, "(1)my gang is being annihilated by our rivals, and (2) there's nothing left here worth stealing, while we hear of easy pickings in the US".

Yeah, notice how there aren't any skinny, starving ones, most of them have on T-Shirts with logos or pictures, and a lot of them have pretty nice luggage and backpacks. One guy in the upper left corner appears to have some pretty sophisticated electronics (video camera / cell phone?).
And, of the approximately 50 people in the picture, there are only about 6 recognizably female faces.
