Actually - please read my OP again - I was NOT saying repeated hectoring was the answer. But a softer “informative” touch from Rush regarding GOTV would be helpful, I think. Rush is good at tossing in some humor, too... :-)
No need for Rush to go “Hannity” with it. Get into discussion of the interesting and challenging parts of GOTV efforts and methods, and how people can help or be creative.
Indeed, there are several House seats up for grabs where no Senate seat is in play. See my thread about Trump coming to IL, for example. You are generally correct, but sometimes local issues come into play strongly in House races. Further, in some races you have Dems in mostly rural / suburban districts who “say” they support 2nd Amendment rights AND will “bring home the bacon”. Many times, things are not “logically” cut and dried...
If 10% of races fall into the above, or similar, the House could be lost.
What % of Rush’s listeners do you think volunteer with GOTV efforts?

As I and others have posted, this encouragement could be done in interesting, clever, and even humorous ways, and Rush is (I think) uniquely talented and positioned to do it.
Historically, especially in the mid term elections, voting numbers are generally down, especially for the Party holding the Presidency.
That said, my point was that there is more to the issue than a need for simple exhortations to vote. We need more manpower / womanpower involved in GOOV (Get Out OUR Voters).

This is so un-historic; we are in uncharted ‘waters’ politically.
GWB basically roller over and just took it AS the nooze mediots continued to nip at his heels and wear *us* down. In large part they succeeded with most of the electorate.

Today, we have record-setting attendance at continuing Trump rallies; we have NEVER had anything like this before.
Go back to the months running up to the election and even after.

Yeah. Both are hard for me to take. As is Levin. I’m in the Greater NYC area and when, as I’ve been, in the car, I actually find the far, far left BAI to be the best talk radio. Just really well done — and sincere. Some parody-like outright communist shows. But also some that the awake right could appreciate too. Geo-engineering. Some aspects of the concerns with Israel’s Mossad meddling. An Irish show with a healthy awareness of what the UK is up to, etc.
You are wrong. If you don’t listen to Rush like I do everyday then you can’t claim to that it happened. Fake news. Show me the evidence of a recording. The whole segment not a sound bite. I’ll be waiting.
If you listened everyday I would not need to show you anything, you would already know.
