From the article:
"The TMZ interviewer pointed out that there are right-wing activists like the Proud Boys who have engaged in violent protest."The standard leftist response: "Both sides are equally bad. Nothing to see here. Move on, people."
Let's summarize:
- On the one hand we have dozens of cases of top GOP elected officials and high White House officials being hounded & harassed out of public places, egged on publicly by prominent political figures like MadMaxine, HRC & Holder, not to mention by numerous prominent "entertainers". We have dozens if not hundreds of cases of well-known conservative speakers on campuses being attacked by Antifa and their ilk. We have hundreds of cases of attacks against lower-level targets - whether local GOP HQ's smashed up & vandalized, or people committing the unforgivable sin of wearing a MAGA hat while exiting a Trump rally who are attacked by "The Resistance," or peaceful Pro-Life demonstrators violently attacked with their signs being destroyed and their own bodies being assaulted.
- And here on the other side of the scales, we have exactly one alt-right nutjob who drove his car into a crowd in Charlottesville - killing 1 and injuring others, plus maybe a half dozen cases of Antifa vs Proud Boy street brawls, for which MSM outlets like the NYT report that, "it's unclear who started it" ... which probably means that the grainy videos show Antifa throwing something first but Antifa claims the PB's threw first yet it somehow wasn't captured on video, rendering it "unclear who".
- And so the entire MSM, like this TMZ reporter, claim "There are two sides to every story; both sides here are equally at fault for violence & harassment".
You know, I'll bet it wouldn't be hard to dig thru old photo archives of the early 1930s and find at least *one* photo of one of Rohm's Brown Shirts who got his nose bloodied by a Jewish youth fighting back in the very early days before Kristallnacht.
Applying the standards of today's MSM, that photo alone could be used to justify a claim of, "Hey, there are two sides to the Holocaust. Both sides were equally at fault".
I'd not be surprised if the left writes a song commemorating the woman who died of vehicular assault at Charlottesville. It would parallel what the brownshirts did, singing their "Horst Wessel" hymn about one of their own who was killed by a Communist or Socialist gang in one of the frequent street brawls preceding the Nazi takeover, belting out that song at the top of their lungs in torch-lit marches and beer halls, as if this one single death justified every act of violence they committed against their political enemies and the Jews.
