Is the "blue wave" turning purple?
Republican-affiliated voters have outpaced Democratic-affiliated voters in early voting in seven closely watched states, according to data provided by TargetSmart and independently analyzed by the NBC News Data Analytics Lab.
GOP-affiliated voters have surpassed Democratic-affiliated ones in early voting in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Montana, Tennessee and Texas, the data showed.
Only in Nevada have Democratic-affiliated voters exceeded Republican-affiliated voters so far in early voting, according to the data.
What LS and others have been saying all along...
Read it, take it in and then disregard it and keep voting...

I ain’t taking NOTHING FOR GRANTED!! Did some texting to friends to GOTV and offered rides!! I live in a VERY VERY DEEP ROTTEN BLUE city and I know which way this city’s population swings but it’s the total that counts!! Tomorrow I’ll be voting and will update y’all how many poeple showed up at precinct!! C’mon Texas don’t let us down..it’s gonna be close unfortunately!! VOTE CRUZ!!
Please dear God, let this be so.
Even Real Clear Politics has Cruz at +7 over Beto on 10/22/2018. I believe Cruz will end up at +10 on election day.
In Montgomery County (heavy Red) long lines at the early voting. Looks like a Presidential turnout.
Probably based on the primary in which the voter participated
My Fort Bend County, Richmond, Texas polling place was pretty busy compared to years past. There were always about 10 to 12 people in line and ten voting booths. It kept moving pretty fast with most people taking just a couple of minutes. I figure there is lots of Straight Ticket voting. Mostly older folks 65+ voting.
Just for you all who want to know how I voted for Senate - I voted for the Latin guy.
It would be helpful to know which state. Thanks.
That’s about the only way and to be honest I don’t think they
would spend that time digging thru voter roles to see which
party they voted in. You could asked each one and take that
as the truth.
Texas, north of Houston.

Me too.... the “real” Latin guy!
Beto is no Latin guy.
It seems there is some disagreement about this.

The Blue Wave is the Tidy Bowl man.
What do you think?
They are comparing the early vote numbers in Nevada to 2014, which was the last midterm, but there was no Senate race that year, and the Governor race was won by Republican Brian Sandoval over Democrat Bod Goodman by 71% to 24%. Because of non-competitive races that year, it is not a good year for a valid comparison.
