The same people who demanded the BOY scouts allow openly homosexual men to serve as leaders were the same ones screaming the loudest about the evil ‘priests’ who were molesting boys.
This is actually the fault of the Boy Scouts. They should have fought for their traditional values rather than giving in. Letting girls into the Boy Scouts....when the feminazis were not even demanding it...just proved how that organization castrated itself willingly.
You can thank AT&T and other corporations that were providing free services to scouts who told them they would withdrawal if they didn’t start adopting thier gay tolerance policy. BSA was addicted to the money and sold out. Now no one wants to join scouts and they are in the same death spiral that the Canadian Scouts are in, and desperately doing what it can to get anyone in, gays, women, tranny’s, pedophiles. They don’t care. After spending close to $100 million to settle molestation charges, looks like its only going to get worse with girls. RIP BSA! We got out 2 years before they decided to go to hell! As a matter of fact they were not, and that is a sleazy attempt at deflection. The loudest and most relentless voices on this forum are and always have been people whose family members have fallen prey to perverts, or who themselves were raped as children.
As I understand it, the demand came from the parents of the girls, wanting a better program than the Girl Scouts offered. Eagle, God & Country, Order of the Arrow, that kind of program.
My granddaughter used to be on the Boy Scout professional staff. My brother is an adult BSA leader and echos her observation.
