Intern tries to grab the microphone and he doesn’t let go. In the course of that, the back of his arm with the mic makes contact with her arm - basically due to her action not his.

You're not watching the same video as everyone else, or from the wrong viewpoint. He clearly brought his free arm down against hers while his other arm was holding the mic. It wasn't the mic arm.

Ok, got it, but I would say that’s a far cry from something I would characterize as “placing his hands on a young woman”. That looks like a reflexive move to me.

Nevertheless, I thought that guy should’ve been kicked out long ago. No kavanaugh-style accusations required. He’s disruptive period, as this video does clearly indicate.

I think this is what really angered Trump. This young woman is looking to him for help, and Trump was restricted to words alone.
