Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy is never afraid to speak his mind, and he used his press conference Monday to discuss his disappointment in players transferring.
The coach blamed "liberalism," "Generation Z" and "the snowflake" for the current trend, via Scott Pfeil of KOTV:

The NCAA rules on collegiate athletic transfers is too far restrictive, and if anything, those NCAA rules are an example of Socialism, and how the Socialist NCAA aims to control a student athlete’s educational and economic destiny.
Under Conservatism, Student Athletes would control their own destiny.

I don’t think he was talking about controlling their own destiny. I think he was talking about a young generation that doesn’t want to work, doesn’t want to be criticized, and feels entitled to everything because mommy and daddy spoiled them rotten..... if you read his whole statement

Transfers are killing college football.
Gundy’s staff benched a DB after the kid repeatedly got burned.... so instead of working harder, doing better etc..... the kid called his parents and they decided to transfer if he was going to get benched.
Same here. When Leach I went online and bought a Washington State visor.

Prohibiting or restricting a student athlete from transferring to another school is nothing more than indentured servitude.

Could be. Leach was an assistant at OU, Gundy may have been there at the same time.
BTW, Leach turned me into a Texas The fan.
And Art Briles DID work for Leach. Could be wrong about that, too.
