Any votes without ID would therefore be illegitimate.

Don't ignore the last paragraph:

A person is not required to submit proof of citizenship with the voter registration form, but failure to do so means the person will only be eligible to vote in federal elections (known as being a “federal only” voter). A “federal only” voter will become eligible to vote a “full ballot” in all federal, state, county and local elections if he or she later provides valid proof of citizenship to the appropriate County Recorder’s office.

Now the question becomes, do they actually follow up on that last sentence?

The AZ gubernatorial race had 2,004,414 total votes.

The Senate race had 2,228,842.

That’s 224,428 more votes in the Senate race where no proof of citizenship is required than in the governor race where proof of citizenship is required.

Sinema won by 38,295

“Foreigners are deciding our elections by voting in them.”

Yes, but ultimately it is those American citizens who are treasonous who are letting this happen. As long as they have power, no matter what happens to the US in the long run, they are happy.

Full ballot makes no difference for the Senate race.

There were more than 200k votes in the senate race compared to governor race, which must be due to this federal only law in which they do not gave to show proof of citizenship.

We are the dumbest rubes that ever existed. We have the greatest country in the world, made of the sweat, temperament, and moral fiber of our fathers, and we GAVE IT AWAY to schleps that have no honor or decency.

We had 2 years to fix this crap, and a dozen conservative groups in which to do it. But screw it, let's watch golf, NASCAR, or practice some inane hobby that is a waste of time.

We deserve what we get just for being STOOPID and lethargic.

And we were betrayed by the repuki party. We had a very limited time to #draintheswamp and #buildthewall before America was finished. The republicans spent their time stabbing Trump in the back.

But the statement out of the AG office says first line.

A person must be a U.S. citizen in order to register and vote. the it goes on to explain..

federal statue:

§611. Voting by aliens

(a) It shall be unlawful for any alien to vote in any election held solely or in part for the purpose of electing a candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, unless-

(1) the election is held partly for some other purpose;

(2) aliens are authorized to vote for such other purpose under a State constitution or statute or a local ordinance; and

(3) voting for such other purpose is conducted independently of voting for a candidate for such Federal offices, in such a manner that an alien has the opportunity to vote for such other purpose, but not an opportunity to vote for a candidate for any one or more of such Federal offices.

(b) Any person who violates this section shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than one year, or both.

(c) Subsection (a) does not apply to an alien if-

(1) each natural parent of the alien (or, in the case of an adopted alien, each adoptive parent of the alien) is or was a citizen (whether by birth or naturalization);

(2) the alien permanently resided in the United States prior to attaining the age of 16; and

(3) the alien reasonably believed at the time of voting in violation of such subsection that he or she was a citizen of the United States.

(Added Pub. L. 104–208, div. C, title II, §216(a), Sept. 30, 1996, 110 Stat. 3009–572 ; amended Pub. L. 106–395, title II, §201(d)(1), Oct. 30, 2000, 114 Stat. 1635 .)

Yup. The non-citizen illegal aliens got the ‘federal ballot’ and voted democrat, but governor was not on their ballots. This explains the discrepancy in the ratio.

Actually, what this appears to mean (to me) is that Arizona, by law, requires proof of residency for participation in state and local elections, but does not require it for federal elections. This is likely due to the past history of court decisions ruling against ID/proof of citizenship for federal elections.

With the more recent trend of decisions supporting voter ID (and the looming deadlines for Real ID), this issue should become less flagrantly obnoxious.

This is election fraud by the state government. If tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of illegals/non-citizens were allowed to vote for senator and congress on a so-called ‘federal ballot’ in Arizona then the Arizona results must be tossed out by the feds. If they can hold a special election fine, but otherwise the fraudulently elected congressmen and senator cannot be seated.

This is election fraud by the state government.

AZ tried to apply the citizenship ID requirement to everyone but in 2014 SCOTUS said they couldn’t go beyond federal motor-voter registration ID requirements.

FWIW, the first year this was in effect 24 people used the federal-only form.

I’m looking for recent stats.

Lots of citizens don't have them or need them.

If that's what it takes to secure our election system I would get one.
