In this modern digital day and era, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for what’s going on. It’s been almost 2 weeks since the election and they STILL can’t get their crap together??? Toss em all out...ALL of em. Maybe the legit voters will get pissed enough to make major changes.
LOL, hell, I’d ignore the deadline too if I were them. Nothing will happen except a lot of scornful comments from the GOP. There isn’t the slightest chance it would result in any fines, prison, seizure of ballots, etc.
Same for subpoenas from Congress, orders from Federal judges to allow observers in, etc.
If I was a dem I’d laugh and flip the finger at the GOP while I did it.

what is with Florida? They used to be famous for oranges and beaches. Jai Li and greyhounds. Now they’re famous for being the most controversial election state. These guys invented ‘hanging chads’ and now they’ve got overheated machines? That is not ‘progress’.
Seems to me at the sign of machine problems, they needed to set up groups of 3 - for handcount. All three agree on the count, go to the next stack. How hard can it be to score scantron forms?
The counties across the nation that have the most problems with voting are the ones controlled by those who oppose Voter ID, voting integrity and ballot simplicity.
Nullify that counties votes.
Make that county do a revote with U.S. Marshals watching every polling place and guarding the ballots.
SOS should follow the law in regards to this. At least one could point to constitutional law as to why.
