Yes, the US has nuclear weapons. It had them in the mid 1970s, too, but still lost the Vietnam War. It has had them ever since it invaded Afghanistan, but is not winning. The nuclear-armed Soviet Union didn’t win there, either. Speaking of which, the Soviet nuclear arsenal was irrelevant when it collapsed of its own farcical pretensions to omniscience and omnipotence. The same fate awaits the self defense denialists.
