Good thing these fake fingerprints won’t work on any Apple TouchID sensors, Apple TouchID sensors don’t really use the obvious fingerprints. Instead of using fingerprints, Apple TouchID sensors use the unique ridges and valleys in the subcutaneous fat layer below the skin layer that contains the fingerprints. That’s why a mere image of a fingerprint, like these, won’t work on an Apple device while an image does work on an Android fingerprint sensor.

The subcutaneous scanner was defeated a long time ago. It remains to be seen whether GAN generated fingerprints can do the trick tho. OTOH GAN based ad-tech is manipulating millions of people into engagement with clickbait every hour so I wouldn’t bet against it influencing you to act against your own best interests someday soon, heheh....
