President Trump has a proclivity for tweeting, typos and trenchant nicknames.
In making use of the first habit on Sunday, he alluded to a profanity and left many wondering which of his other online idiosyncrasies were at work.
In the tweet, the president took aim at Representative Adam B. Schiff of California, a Democrat who is the incoming chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Mr. Schiff has said that Democrats would investigate Mr. Trumps acting attorney general, Matthew Whitaker, who is charged with overseeing the Russia investigation led by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III.
So funny to see little Adam Schitt (D-CA) talking about the fact that Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker was not approved by the Senate, but not mentioning the fact that Bob Mueller (who is highly conflicted) was not approved by the Senate! Mr. Trump tweeted.
The post quickly set off reactions on social media, as some critics assumed that the president had deliberately misspelled the congressmans name to make it sound like a vulgarity.
The Office of the President was made for better things than an infantile tweet misspelling a congressmans name like a curse word, tweeted Walter M. Shaub Jr., the former top ethics watchdog for the federal government who resigned last year after going head-to-head with the Trump administration.
Mr. Schiff himself also fired back. Wow, Mr. President, thats a good one. Was that like your answers to Mr. Muellers questions, or did you write this one yourself? he wrote, referring to Mr. Trumps lawyers drafting written answers to some of Mr. Muellers questions.

Even the President of the United States has the right to express himself.
Marxists are destroying the nation. I could care less about what Trump calls them.
What is far worse than the President’s behavior is that of Schiff.
PDJT is nearly alone in government in recognizing the enemy within, the rat party.
While accurate, I’m thinking the “Schitt” was a typo.
With “covfefe”, PDJT made a typo. He’s made many typos in his tweets. But with “Shitt” he didn’t? You don’t know that.
I don’t know how many times I typed “pubic” when I wored for the PubLic Works Department. It happens.
... So many people looking to give POTUS tips on “acting presidential.”
As soon as I saw it I knew, Trump has something on this little bastard. Remember Trump said he is going after the leakers. Who leaks more than Little Adam?
I think Trump was being too nice.
This is not the way a US representative from California should behave.
The surname Schitt was first found in East Prussia, where the name gained a significant reputation for its contribution to the emerging mediaeval society
AND!!!
The GOPe which continues to abound and work against PDJT.
Schitt’s Creek is quite a popular television show.
Well compared to how people like Adam Schiff behaves, what Trump did is very minor. Don’t forget: Adam Schiff has turned against the United states. The only goal of Adam Schiff is to destroy the United states and calling him “Schitt” is the least of what he should be called.
Normally I’d agree with you.
But they’re gonna #### him in the msm no matter what he says or does.
And dems are gonna try and destroy him no matter what he says or does.
So #### it. Might as well earn it. :)
Schiff is disgusting, Trump should expose him and go for criminal prosecution, if possible, and stop this childish name calling. It isnt cute anymore and is getting hard to defend.
Super trolling. Trump knows that Americans vote based on perception and image...so he’s blasting those phony government skanks. They are relentlessly trying to destroy him. Schiff is a lackey...just a tool. He got off lightly.
Why not? Better to fight, than to get run over by leftist mobs.
President Trump uses twitter to put the news focus on people he wants the focus on. I have a feeling that some significant news is coming down the pike about schitt very soon. With the misspelling, the MSM cant help themselves but to cover congressman Schitt
