There's a new film financier around town: the unapologetic Trump-loving, born-again Christian conservative founder of My Pillow, who is sure to stand out in Hollywood....
Michael Lindell invested $1 million into a new film from the makers behind 'God's Not Dead,' and plans to keep spending on projects that fit his message.
His investment amounts to one-sixth the entire production budget of Unplanned, which comes from some of the same filmmakers who were behind God's Not Dead and I Can Only Imagine, a couple of Christian films that did well at the box office, earning $61 million and $84 million, respectively.
Lindell also has a cameo in Unplanned that's sure to raise eyebrows in certain circles, as he is seen bulldozing a Planned Parenthood site to make way for the headquarters of an anti-abortion group called 40 Days for Life. "I'm pro-life and I'm happy to do it," Lindell says.

Lindell handed out 10,000 My Pillows to hurricane victims in Florida earlier this month.
“I’ve prayed about everything I’ve done,” Lindell says. “I met Donald Trump before he was president and I didn’t know a thing about politics. I walked out of his office thinking there was no better man in this world that I would like to be my president.”
I wondered why our masters in the media were trying to pin the “creepy” vibe and meme on him. Now I know.
Lindell used to be a crack cocaine addict. He turned his life around and has a very successful company now. He has been on the Sean Hannity radio show and told his story of redemption. That he would fund this kind of film is no surprise to me.
I say good for Mike Lindell. Godspeed to his pro-life efforts.
Yes...I’m familiar with him too.
I’m glad to hear he has redeeming values. I’m actually sick of him and his cheesy mustache. Every time he comes on I either change the channel or mute the sound.
On this day, I might say “I’m thankful that men such as Mike Lindell are still to be found in the USA.”
Lindell is truly a good man. He readily tells of his past problems with drug abuse, etc., and how he grew from it. God bless him.
Another project of his is that he’s starting a program to help druggies get off drugs. Then it goes beyond that because he supports them in finding jobs and assuring they have other life skills to carry on. He did quite a long interview on RSBN explaining the program a couple months ago before one of the rallies.
I gave, “Mypillows” to some of my family as Christmas presents. I will shop on his site again this year.
Jeff Besos has enough money.
Not me, this man has done so much good. He has sent pillows to the troops in Afghanistan (and they were really great fun). He is a really good man.
We should all praise and thank Mike for doing this. But as with most thins political, its not going to amount to anything. What Bloomberg is doing amounts to something. One wonders if Sheldon Adelson is all done with this type of stuff. Would be a shame if he were.
Unplanned. Maybe a movie about pregnancy?
I never heard of him until just now.
But I don’t get around much :)
Mike is a true American patriot.
With God everything us possible.
With government,......not so much.
I think of Mike Lindell every night as I lay my head down.
Love my pillows and they launder up so nice..
Yes...there are good people still in America...
Alas, me too. God bless him, but he drives me nuts. I DVR Tuckers show, and have to remember to skip past his ad at the beginning of the recording every day, or I just get aggravated
