Reports of a possible chlorine chemical attack against civilians in #Aleppo, #Syria, by extremists in nearby area. At least 30 civilians are injured. Extremists in nearby areas are terrorizing citizens of Aleppo, a city with a large Christian population.
I don’t trust Syrian state media. It’s very likely that gas canisters have only been launched or sometimes dropped from Russian or Syrian state aircraft there, as they were from Hussein’s aircraft against the Kurds in Iraq nearly three decades ago.
And the rebels (what’s left of ‘em) don’t have the kind of artillery needed for gas attacks of any kind.
Everyone sees where the Turks might end up on the matter. Shipments of sensitive arms to the Turks have already been suspended. Everyone also knows on some level of cognizance or other where the situation is going, but most people in every nation and feel-good religion continue to deny that knowledge.
