I have deep roots in GM. My grandpa started ad Cadillac in the 1920’s. I always bought Chevies until 2009. In 2009 they shut down my dealer ( I believe they chose dealerships to shut down on politics) and at that point I paused then said ...it is over...I am not a GM guy any more
“I am not a GM guy any more”
2009 did it for me as well. I view it as similar to buying a stolen car because they stole the company from the bondholders.
One question is how does CA meet their future emissions requirement if the Volt can’t survive?
Also, I can’t imaging how much depreciation current Volt owners just took. Has to impact Telsa as well.
Because of CAFE it is basically impossible to build a sedan at a marketable
price point so Ford and Chrysler have stopped making them GM will too. Thanks Rats.
“In 2009 they shut down my dealer.” Thanks for the history. Sorry for the broken heart. Yes, politicians closed some Chevy dealership simply because they felt like it. Unfair and cruel.
