“Ballot Harvesting” Added Over 250,000 Votes in Orange County – Flipping Four Seats Blue
GATEWAY P ^ | Dec 2 2018 | Cristina Laila

Posted on 12/03/2018 1:33:34 AM PST by dennisw

Very few people took notice when far left Governor Jerry Brown signed the changes in AB1921 into law two years ago.

As a result, California lost 7 of its 14 Republican House seats this election cycle.

Ballot harvesting is illegal in most states. In Texas, New York and Pennsylvania they arrest people for ballot harvesting.

Orange County, traditionally a conservative enclave in Southern California turned all blue after Democrats found hundreds of thousands of votes post election day.

Republicans such as Mimi Walters, Dana Rohrabacher and Young Kim were all ahead election night only to lose their races after late ballots were counted.

The amount of mail-in ballots counted in Orange County were unprecedented – a whopping 250,000 ballots were produced in OC as a result of the new “ballot harvesting” law.

"The GOP doesn't have the time or will to do anything about it. Vote fraud will cause DJT will lose the 2020 election and both houses to be taken by marxist Democrats. The borders will be open wide, further diluting American citizen's votes. Also, kiss your first and second amendments goodbye."
Probably accurate forecast. The Democrats are making the ballot box meaningless and inviting the chaos that will follow if enough citizens decide to go for the ammunition box instead. Has the will to resist tyranny been bred out of the electorate?

Makes one wonder. It's almost as if the general populace (in certain areas) has been bred to be docile in the face of tyranny (much like the Brits).

I'm not a natural pessimist, but that's how I'm seeing things. Another 'transformative' president and congress will have this country at war with itself.

Everyone, can you please ping this to other people? I know what provisional ballots are, but I had absolutely no idea what "ballot harvesting" was. I only heard this term yesterday for the first time. As I learned more, I became progressively more shocked, appalled, and disgusted by what I found. I am certain I am not the only one who is ignorant of this Mack Truck sized hole in the electoral process, a hole rent in its fabric deliberately for just this malfeasant intent.

IMPORTANT DISTINCTION: PROVISIONAL BALLOTS DO NOT NEED A "POSTMARK" AND ARE HANDLED OUTSIDE THE MAIL SERVICE. PROVISIONAL BALLOTS ARE NOT ABSENTEE BALLOTS.

This piece at The Daily Caller: WHAT IS ‘BALLOT HARVESTING,’ AND HOW DID CALIFORNIA DEMS USE IT TO NUKE THE GOP? completely blew me away.

Just blew me away.

Here is the link to the embedded video on YouTube that shows just how brazen and focused this is: YouTube video recording harvesting in action: "Picking up my ballot?"

This is a transcript of the dialogue in the video that I put together as best I could.

BRANDY: Who is it?

DEMOCRAT WORKER LULU: Hey, I'm looking for Brandy?

BRANDY: Who is it?

DEMOCRAT WORKER LULU: Lulu. I came here to pick up your ballot.

BRANDY: What do you mean, picking it up?

DEMOCRAT WORKER LULU: Yeah, I bring this little service, but only to, like, people who are supporting the Democratic Party. It's a service, I'm just here to pick up your ballot...show you how to do it, if you don't know.

BRANDY: You came here to pick up my ballot?

DEMOCRAT WORKER LULU: Yeah (chuckles) it's new, the bill just passed last year, at the end. So there is, there's been a problem with like, people, um...like half the ballots that were mailed out last year didn't get back, a lot of people weren't signing the envelope in the back and stuff, but...(trails off)

BRANDY: Let me look...

DEMOCRAT WORKER LULU: Okay.

BRANDY: I think I filled it out...(inaudible)

DEMOCRAT WORKER LULU: Yeah, well I'm working with the bill that was passed and stuff, it's not like I am going to take it and fabricate it. It has to be sealed and it has to be signed for me to even touch it...ummm...

BRANDY: How will I even know that (inaudible)

DEMOCRAT WORKER LULU: Okay.

The end of the exchange is inaudible, but you hear the mailbox slot on the door, which I assume is the ballot being passed through the slot to the worker.

I could hardly believe this. I still cannot believe it. So, they get the rolls of the voters, separate out the registered Democrats, find out from the election day rolls who did and did not vote, then go out to the ones who either didn't show up at the polls, or do not have a ballot mailed in.

What is disturbing to me is the process. I am, and have always been 100% opposed to "Motor Voter", early voting, mail in ballots, and everything along those lines, except in the case of people who cannot get to the polls on election day for valid reasons including infirmity, business, travel, military service, etc. Those are valid reasons, and should be accommodated.

Voting is the cornerstone of our representative government. If on Election Day, someone cannot get off their lazy ass and make it to the voting booth, they don't deserve to vote. Period. Many people (including nearly all Leftists and even many on Free Republic) disagree with me on this, but I don't give a damn.

When the Motor Voter Law went through under the Clinton administration, it is no accident that that two of the damned grinning and proud Leftists on hand for the ceremony were Richard Cloward and Francis Fox-Piven. This is EXACTLY what people like that want, and I still find it dumbfounding that so many people, including many on this very forum, agree with those two Leftist radicals.

They want EVERY single chink in the armor of the security of the electoral process to be expanded, widened, and exploited in any way possible, and ALL these things, Motor Voter, early voting, absentee ballots, not to mention requiring proof of mandatory citizenship, resistance and opposition to purging voter rolls and requiring valid identification to vote, are all part of that strategy. When we hear things like "the signatures don't match" on ballots, the light should go on. There are people who are obviously scanning or collecting these ballots, checking the rolls, and scribbling a signature on those missing them, but only for Democrat registered ballots after the ballot has been opened. (I don't have proof of that, but I strongly suspect it)

I was shocked and astonished to see this practice of "ballot harvesting" is legal in some places. We should, every one of us be appalled and disgusted by this. I was equally disturbed by the response of my wife (who is no Leftist) when I described this to her, and she said "Well, it's fine if both sides have the opportunity to do it, right?"

No, it is NOT "fine". My wife is no liberal, but she misses the point entirely. This whole process can and does take place after the polls are closed...most are a week to ten days, but in some cases, up to TWENTY ONE DAYS AFTER THE POLLS CLOSE!

Check out this page for information about state laws on this: National Conference of State Legislatures: About Provisional Ballots to see more information on how states handle them.

This is the deliberate destruction of the voting process, deliberate. To say that "we should do it too" is to miss the point entirely. We call this voter fraud, Leftists call it "Democracy". Folks, this kind of thing is going to spread to other states, make no mistake about it, and when it does, we are finished as a Republic. Finished.

Tell me ...

What good are “our guns,” if nobody has the will to use them when they ought to be used?

The communists just stole several elections - our voice - in California, and not one American lifts a finger to stop this egregious violation... Oh, but we “still” have “our guns!”

Big effing deal.

What we obviously lack is the balls to use them.

Saw this coming. Like so many other conservatives, our family escaped from South Orange County and the burdensome yoke of the “Golden State” decades ago.

A lot of it was ballots that were (newly legally) “harvested” on election day—and then it took up to 21 days to get them all counted. (250K in Orange County alone!)

No they shouldn’t have the law, but in truth it goes up against the edge of lots of stuff that has long been legal and practiced elsewhere—following up with those who haven’t voted on the day of, dropping applications for absentee voting off or “harvesting” them, if you will, canvassing door to door, etc.

The real crime was having a criminal (or grotesquely inept) Romney at the head of the GOP, not countering, let alone effectively countering, the Dems’ exploitation of the new law. Forget about fuming about the law, this is CA, after all. But the GOP should have been all over it, using it equally for their side. And they weren’t.

Either Ronna ROMNEY McDaniel is corrupt, like her uncle and cousins—or she is inept. Yet, Trump just tweeted out his enthusiastic support for her to continue in her position through 2020. Qsters can somehow hope that there is a sting operation going on against her, but I doubt that’s the story here. I think Trump and Javanka are still deluded about some sort of GOPe/Dem?uniparty willingness to cooperate with them.

If it's a scheme to "harvest" more ballots AFTER election day, then you know the democRATS are in on it.

The DNC is the epitome of voter fraud.

This may be legal in Kalifornia after they passed some state law, but it is surely unconstitutional.

Who but the corrupt democRATS would approve of this process?

Who's going to challenge it?

If the GOP did this, we'd be in jail.

They’ll get away with it.

Of course they will. The election is over. This is why they continue to do it.

BECAUSE NOBODY EVER DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

The "Resistance" has been quacking #NotMyPresident for two years now.

Time for us voters who played by the rules to start shouting #NotMyLaws when it comes to thuggery passed by the DemoFrauds in the US House.

#NotMyLaws
#NotMyLaws
#NotMyLaws
#NotMyLaws
#NotMyLaws

Enforce your fraudulently imposed "laws" at your own peril, Behars...

The left has put so many impediments to a free and fair process the process can’t work. My mind replays the image of B.J.Clinton happily signing motor voter into law with Cloward and Piven looking on. They have realized their dream. They have overwhelmed the system.

It’s a state responsibility. Most of us don’t have any word in it. I suppose someone in CA could challenge its constitutionality, but I doubt they’d get far.

What the GOP in CA needs to do is assure authenticity checks in some way, as part of the process. Challenging for that could get somewhere.

And, of course, they need to use it to the hilt within the law themselves.

So far they have done neither.

I'm talking about the fraudulently "elected" US representatives from KKKalifornia.

Any laws that their new CONgress passes are null and void.

They've been quacking the same thing about President Trump [see Robert "The Lollipop Guild" Reich's take on this matter].

The malignant dwarf "Third" Reich and his adherents want to EXPUNGE Trump's Presidency. I say we return the favor. Let's show the KKKrats what "Resistance" is all about, the effing amateurs that they are.

Eff those Behars. Let them bring it with their enforcers.
