The Hill ^ | 12/03/18 | TIMOTHY CAMA

The Supreme Court refused Monday to hear a case arguing that a key law giving President Trump authority to build a border wall is unconstitutional.

The case was denied along with dozens of others in a list issued Monday, without explanation by the nine justices.

Thank you. That was a very informative post! I’m glad to hear so much is being done already.

Even if all four of the Liberal Justices were sympathetic to the environazis’ arguments, they know none of the other Justices would ever agree and so cert denied.

>>Funding is the only obstacle.<<

Consider this: The Kenyan Fraud managed to find a hundred and fifty BILLION dollars to bribe Iran to be nice, but our stinking Congress creatures cannot find 25 billion dollars for a wall to protect our country from invaders. And they wonder why millions of Americans despise them all!

......”Neither wing of the uniparty wants a wall. POTUS is riding solo on this one”......

I agree which also states congress really does not represent the will of the people as we’ve known for decades now. Yet...our POTUS does not give up the fight so it will be very interesting to see what he does next to move this body to grant him what he asks.

There are a lot of ways they could raise the money for the wall, if there was the political will.

I really like the idea of Ted Cruz (and others) who proposed using asset forfeiture from Mexican Drug Cartels. El Chapo is on trial now, and up to $13 billion might be seized if (when) he is convicted.

But the $150 billion for Iran were frozen accounts of the Iranians, rather than money from the US Treasury. I wish it was that easy to come up with that kind of money in our budgeting process. I believe that the pallets of cash were US money though.

Appellate courts routinely reject cases without opinion. But this must have been the list of cases too stupid to even go there.

The Center for Biological Diversity is a hardcore left/liberal organization (as opposed to other conservation groups that had open Marxists in it (at some time), such as the Natural Resources Defense Fund - Damu Smith).

It is well staffed and funded. The staff have a myriad of degrees in “science, the environment, etc”. so they are not a bunch of foundation-funded nuisance yahoos, and that is what makes them very dangerous.

For the Nutty Ninth to turn them down, their case presentation/contents had to be bad. That is good.

DHS’s authority is under the national security umbrella/legislation since 9/11, so many of its operations are based on that, not necessarily some other act. Therefore the President and DHS have the authority to act in the national interest, i.e. national defense. Hence the Supreme Court’s decision not to hear the case.

He was the "Mexican Judge" Trump said couldn't make a fair ruling on the "Trump University" case because he was "Mexican".

Would you like to explain the rest?

If you google the judges name, the story was widely reported. Fortunately, Judge Curiel hasn’t let it sway his decisions.
