Yahoo News ^ | 12/03/2018 | Michael Isikoff

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s prosecutors have told defense lawyers in recent weeks that they are “tying up loose ends” in their investigation, providing the clearest clues yet that the long-running probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election may be coming to its climax, potentially in the next few weeks, according to multiple sources close to the matter.

The new information about the state of Mueller’s investigation comes during a pivotal week when the special counsel’s prosecutors are planning to file memos about three of their most high profile defendants — former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former Trump personal lawyer Michael Cohen.

Time to wrap it up.

As a couple of posters noted on yahoo news, Mueller won't file his report until the Dems take control of Congress.

If I understand this-—and who really knows?-—Mulehead is SUPPOSED to file it with the AG, namely Whitaker, who can decide who else gets it.

Should wrap up 1/20/19, just in time for the impeachment hearings.

I guess I’m the eternal optimist. I do think the investigation wraps up in the next few months.

After the report is issued to DOJ, Trump will likely get a few weeks to write a counter report. Then I’m guessing both reports are released to Congress and the public.

Maybe the new AG has pulled Mueller’s unlimited authority, and is finally holding him to account.

That is what I’ve read also. But Trump will write a counter report. I think his lawyers have already written part of it.

If the “investigation” doesn’t wrap up this week, it may go the distance.

He’s preparing something that will destroy trust in Trump...and it won’t even be illegal.

“I’m Robert Mueller. I spent over $30 million tax dollars trying to prove that Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election. Having not found evidence to that charge, I am proud to say my investigation bullied others to a point they agreed to tell untruths for a lighter sentence. In the meantime I ignored the real evidence in Hillary’s collusion with Russia, a fake dossier, selling our uranium to Russia, an illegal private server, deleting 30,000 emails, scrubbing and destroying hard drives, the pay-for-play Clinton Foundation, and more. No need to thank me. I’m a dedicated public servant.”

The scary thing is that Whitaker apparently signed off on the raid of the Clinton whistle blower’s house.

The raid was not for show, they ransacked the house.

Whitiker was sessions COS, he is part of the deep state. This report, when it comes out, will be enough for congress to impeach and remove Trump. That was the point of this whole thing and congress has been behind it from the beginning. They will be successful, but I believe there will be hell to pay.

Mueller will do exactly as Alan Dershowitz said: Mueller will massage his 100+ page report to try and connect the Flynn, Manafort, and Cohen matters into some grand Russian conspiracy by Trump.

I would be surprised if the benign talks about building Trump Towers in Russia is not included, since it is such big news currently. Mueller and his all Dim team will make that an issue in their final report. Bet on it.

My prediction: Nothing will touch President Trump and the new Dim House will let Impeachment dreams go. It will be fun to watch the usual suspects blather on the cable channels for weeks/months. Also, be fun to watch the Dims fight about it.

There is zero chance Mueller’s “report” will be confined to the Acting AG, no matter what Whittaker may think about it. Mueller’s “angry Democrats” will ensure the MSM and Demoncraps get it all in one form or another. Fortunately, there does not seem to be anything significant coming.....
