How did Cooper get elected?
His opponent, the incumbent GOP goveenor McCrory, supported a privatized toll roadowned by a foreign company, to fund the widening of I77 north of Charlotte instead of using state and federal hoghway funds to pay for the expansion and keep the highway free. Commuters in the counties north of Charlotte voted against McCrory and for Cooper who opposed the toll road. There also may have been some voter fraud in heavily Democrati Durham County which turned in thousands of votes late in the evening. Democrats successfully tied McCrory , a former Duke Power executive, to coal ash spills into NC rivers. The demographics of the state are changing due to immigration and the migration of whites into the state from liberal states. As in many states the liberal urban population centers are growing more rapidly than the conservative rural areas. Finally, McCrory was a boring candidate who ran a defensive campaign.
He got elected in NC after certain voter fraud. Certain voting precincts were kept OPEN until late on voting night.....and the election was close.....they kept things open until they had just enough votes to “win”.
No Democrats in Red States! Get rid of the bum!
The election had to be stolen, the GOP won every other race.
