“Is she crying? There’s no crying in baseball!”
MORK FROM ORK
At least she eventually dumped Meathead.
RIP Laverne...
At least she eventually dumped Meathead.
...
I can’t recall her spouting any political opinions so that’s a plus.

>> “Sucks getting old.” <<
You’d prefer the alternative?
Always liked her.
It’s endlessly shown on DirectTV channels.
It’s one of about a dozen movies my husband and I notice are ALWAYS showing. Includes Overboard and Patriot as well as several others. I enjoy most of them but I can only watch it so much!
Always remember as a kid enjoying the rerun cycle of “Laverne and Shirley” whenever it was in the midst of the good old days of when they worked at the Shotz Brewery in Milwaukee and hung out at the Pizza Bowl, as opposed to when they later moved to California to work in a department store and Laverne’s TV dad owned the western themed bar.
She is a liberal and I know she is for abortion. However, she was not in your face type of liberal like her ex Meathead. Nor have I heard her speak ill of anyone let alone a conservative.
I loved Laverne & Shirley because it was a funny show not just for funny remarks but also having physical slap stick skit. I think the closes was I love Lucy.
RIP Penny, I pray you have come to know the Lord.
And Lenny and Squiggy need to get to Radio Shack before they close to pick up some rosin core solder.
Figure that one out.
Amen. God rest her soul.
OK, this is weird. I was JUST TODAY thinking about her when on SiriusXM the song from the series intro came on. I never even knew it was actually a released hit from the 70s (on 7).
RIP, nice Lady.
She was one of Mary Richards’s neighbors (a nurse) when Mary moved out of her studio apartment in the house to a regular apartment. Her character dated Lou Grant briefly.
RIP Penny.
Didn’t know that. Thx ...
There’s no crying in baseball! RIP Penny.
They both merge eventually. None of us gets out of all this alive.
Sad. Her brother Garry Narshall passed away only two years ago.
‘The Patriot’ is the one and only movie I’ve watched from start to finish...then watched it all over again that very same evening!
It really got to me. :)
