Trump Criticized For Breaking With Longstanding American Tradition Of Remaining In Middle Eastern Countries Indefinitely, joked the Babylon Bee upon the news President Donald Trump is bringing troops home from Syria, but the joke wasnt far from the truth at all.
The news deeply angered the Washington foreign policy consensus, which argues that troops should stay in the region indefinitely even though the stated mission of defeating ISIS has been accomplished.
Its true that Trumps decision to depart Syria was sudden and poorly communicated. Viewed one way, however, it was not a complete surprise. Since at least 2013, Trump has repeatedly argued against the idea we need a sustained conflict in Syria:

The burden of proof in these efforts should not be with those who seek to return American troops home to their families after the successful vanquishing of a foe, but on those who seek to continue a conflict with no timeline or clear strategy. That is particularly true in the case where recent wars have not had a clear strategy or plan for victory and departure, as their endless nature proves.
Love Trump but he does need a little more finesse when making these announcements LOL
Was talking with an Iraqi refugee and who is now is US citizen and she agrees with Trump. She has friends in Syria. She made the comment that why waste blood and treasure on people who might not appreciate it.
Who cares how it’s communicated?
I don’t think it was horrible. The neocons acted horribly.

I feel the same but won’t put an “Lol” at the end of my post. It’s not funny.
Wouldn’t it be ironic if the 2019 message is we can’t do border security and finance foreign wars out of the same budget. The Democrats are running to position themselves to be screwed by that scenario in January. Without moving a single troop or giving an inch, Trump can give them Hobson’s choice, all it takes is Trump to make his case at the STOU Address. That could well turn a few stomachs.
General Anthony Tata, author, Dark Winter. I think the President is making the exact right move in Syria. All the geniuses who are protesting the withdrawal of troops from Syria are the same geniuses who cooked the books on ISIS intelligence and gave rise to ISIS.— Donald J. Why? He makes no bones about what he is doing. Anything else would be double talk.

"Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan met Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran on Friday after the trilateral summit with Russia about Syria, Khamenei's official website reported.
The summit focused on a looming military operation in the Syrian province of Idlib, with Erdoğan, Putin and Rouhani discussing joint efforts as part of the Astana process and political efforts for finding a lasting solution to the Syrian conflict."

Everyone has been screaming “Why are we in Syria” (except McCain)....and now everyone is screaming....”Why are we getting out?”
What part of were leaving do you fail to understand, Mollie?
That’s how Obama got us in....finesse...
I could care less how President Trump says these things. He speaks the truth, and if the lefties and RINOs can’t handle it, then too bad. He clearly pointed out that enough of our military people have lost their lives already, and it’s time for them to come home. It makes me laugh that the same media, and libs who fight tooth and nail to keep funding for our troops, are the same ones complaining about how he announced it. They had no problem when Obama withdrew all our troops from Iraq. F them.
Lol. Bunch of contrarians.
France is upset. If France is that upset they can send their own troops.
I don’t want my President having to mince his words, or his meaning, by catering to the “feelings”, “needs”, and “wants” of these morons.
Question: Did the method of communication get the Globalists and Deep Swampsters to out themselves? ... and is that bad?
They're too busy trying to suppress their own people to do that.
