PRESIDENT Trump has admitted he was worried about the safety of his wife Melania during a surprise visit to US troops in Iraq, which took place yesterday.

The couple visited al-Asad airbase in western Iraq for about three and a half hours. Trump met US military commanders and addressed several hundred soldiers. It came just days after the President announced he was withdrawing US troops from Syria.

Asked by a journalist whether he had concerns about visiting the war torn country Trump replied: “Absolutely.

“When I heard what you had to go through.

“I had concerns about the institution of the presidency. Not for myself personally.

“I had concerns for the First Lady I will tell you.”

Trump made the secret visit on Air Force One with the lights turned off and window shades pulled down....

Yes, I must be a troll, faking it here for 19 years. See my previous post: I can vote for and support President Trump without resorting to worshipping every move he makes. This troop visiting is such a class act, and recently he had been tweeting some fairly superficial sensitivities that would cause a non-glorifier to place face into palm
...
I bow to your assumption that we all worship him. Silly me.

If you’ve agreed with every thin skinned tweet about SNL and the like that the President has sent, its kind of worship. He is the President we needed now. He is a great man. Like all great men he is flawed. It does no one any favors to only glorify him.

Jesus I worship President Trump I respect and defend. Jesus does not need my defense. He just instructs that I spread news about him. Please stop the silliness thank you

You criticized me, remember? You started this. You were angry at me for saying some of Trump’s tweets made me a bit embarrassed.

If the President’s tweets embarrass you, that’s fine - but for many of us they are a source of great pride - he uses his tweets to get under the skin of the “politically correct”.

And don’t dismiss it as some kind of blind devotion - we actually LIKE the way he tweets!

I do sympathize with people who were raised with more refined tastes - I have fallen asleep listening to many a distinguished speaker. For some reason, Trump’s less eloquent speeches never put me to sleep.

You are very wrong about me.

I love his tweets to get under the skin of the Fake Media and PC social police.

When Trump is on, I am cheering. But when he gets overly sensitive about SNL, say, or tweets so fast there are errors, I sometimes get a little cringy.

I have always enjoyed 80% of his personality. My dad was similar to him in terms of no class structure, just as curious and interested in the janitor as the CEO, helping people in need quietly, etc. My dad did not have as large an ego or wallet, but I get along well with people like the President. The way the room lights up when they enter, etc. just reminds me of my dad.

“You are very wrong about me.”

Sorry about that. It wouldn’t be the first time I misunderstood someone here! I have no business judging anyway, so I shouldn’t assume.

I guess I’m just so proud of President Trump, precisely for being so unpresidential, so deplorable, so fearless - so profoundly selfless and adult, yet with such a childlike innocence that he can tout his own accomplishments and promises kept like a kid saying “look mommy, I tied my own shoes!”

I just love it all so much and the whole package it came in. I feel so lucky that he is willing to sacrifice what could have been living out his golden years on private islands in luxury surrounded by adoring family and friends - rather than be constantly maligned, insulted and threatened by people who.... I can’t even say what I think of these people.

Anyway, when you said “face-palm tweets”, I wrongly lumped you in with people who find fault with a man who I think is a national treasure - people who are ashamed of a man to who is almost single handedly trying to lead a revolution. It’s the ultimate example of looking a gift horse in the mouth. I find it mind boggling.

No, you weren’t. That was the time you got a suspension.

I see you’re still trying. Keep up the babble.

At least I don’t repeatedly claim to be leaving the site
when I’m insufficiently fawned over.. and then come slinking
back a week later.

Like some folks do.

Don’t they?

Good post. We needed him so badly. I am grateful to him for so many things he’s done, some loud and out there, and some amazing behind the scenes things.

I don’t have to like everything he does to be so happy he is attempting to win back this country for the People. I sure wish they understood that. He has nothing to gain and is risking what is most important to him and that ain’t $.

Does anyone think that worthless narcissist Michelle Obama would even consider a trip like that to visit the troops?

Me neither.

Her delusional cheerleaders all know it. Which is another reason why they hate Melania.
