House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) suggested Friday that criticism of freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) over her impeach the [bleep] remark is driven by sexism and, while she does not condone the Michigan Democrats language, she is not in the censorship business. USA Today Washington Bureau chief Susan Page was on hand at the town hall-style meeting, slated to air on MSNBC this evening, tweeting live updates of Pelosis discussion with host Joy Reid. Asked whether Tlaibss call for President Donald Trump to be impeached hurts the Democrats hurts the case, Pelosi replied: The enthusiasm that our members have helps the case, any case .We try to build our consensus on how we go forward. It doesnt hurt the cause when people speak the truth.
Touching on impeachment moments earlier, Pelosi stated that while The outrage that people feel about impeachment is legitimate, it would be premature to move forward with the measure.
Moments later, Pelosi addressed Tlaibs impeachment remark in which she appeared to excuse the expletive-laden attack on the president, referring to the Palestinian-American lawmakers pledge as generational.
I dont like the language, the speaker told Reid, later adding, Im not in the censorship business.
In an apparent attempt to blame sexism for the blowback the Tlaib received, Pelosi wondered aloud what the response would have been if a man made the same comment. What she said is less offensive than what President Trump said about John McCain, claimed Pelosi.
Of course its sexist. Shes challenging the social more that only males can curse. Get with the program.
The ladies& gentlemen decorum is out the window with dems and muzzies!
More tough talk from criminals.
i’ve tried to call her office all morning (202-225-5126) to express my thoughts- the line automatically goes into voice mail which is full...
It’s not a question of censorship. It’s a question of standards for a US representative. Decorum and decency. If Pelosi doesn’t censure her over this, she is a worse hag than we thought.
Why not add islamophobic?

Sexist
What?
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I guess it could be considered incestuophobic?
Rude and stupid thing to so.
But I’d rather they focus on the fact she repeatedly called for the ethnic cleansing of all Jews from Israel — a genocide of 6,500,000 people, so just a tad higher than what Hitler accomplished.
Leave it to the democRATS to come with sexism.
The criticism was driven by civility, not sexism. If a man said this, it would be uncivil too.
Bttt.

Meanwhile in Republican land, there is always at least one Senator and/or Representative ready and eager to criticize anything done by members of their party.
Generational? Possibly, I do hear our beloved millennials use the word F*ck as often as I say Hello.
Those who accuse TRUMP of such things should get their mother off the streets.

Pelosi will herself be in the orange jumpsuit for her collusion with obama&co to coverup hillary’s treason ...
Meanwhile the double standards is SOP for democrat hypocrites who by their silence support such a piece of trash as this foul-mouth

Well, she just green lighted us to call her a bitch. That is the way that kind of degeneracy works. She now cannot open her mouth and call us committing an immorality.
