Summary of the Green New Deal
The Green New Deal is a four part program for moving America quickly out of crisis into a secure, sustainable future. Inspired by the New Deal programs that helped us out of the Great Depression of the 1930s, the Green New Deal will provide similar relief and create an economy that makes our communities sustainable, healthy and just.

THE FOUR PILLARS OF THE GREEN NEW DEAL -

I - THE ECONOMIC BILL OF RIGHTS
II - A GREEN TRANSITION
III - REAL FINANCIAL REFORM
IV - A FUNCTIONING DEMOCRACY

The greenies sure do talk about money a lot, which all good socialists do. And I never saw Iran and their nukes mentioned once. For every answer to a peaceful, just, and green future we all deserve, click the link...

“Sustainable” is a trigger word for agenda 21 and UN control.

IV - A FUNCTIONING DEMOCRACY

Since we are a Republic and they want to change that, would not US Code 18 U.S. Code § 2385 - Advocating overthrow of Government apply?

Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government; or

Whoever, with intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of any such government, prints, publishes, edits, issues, circulates, sells, distributes, or publicly displays any written or printed matter advocating, advising, or teaching the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying any government in the United States by force or violence, or attempts to do so; or

Whoever organizes or helps or attempts to organize any society, group, or assembly of persons who teach, advocate, or encourage the overthrow or destruction of any such government by force or violence; or becomes or is a member of, or affiliates with, any such society, group, or assembly of persons, knowing the purposes thereof—

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction.

If two or more persons conspire to commit any offense named in this section, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction.

As used in this section, the terms “organizes” and “organize”, with respect to any society, group, or assembly of persons, include the recruiting of new members, the forming of new units, and the regrouping or expansion of existing clubs, classes, and other units of such society, group, or assembly of persons.

I - THE ECONOMIC BILL OF RIGHTS

Before reading further I'll guess those "rights" involve forcibly taking the fruits of someone else's labor. There will be no right to work for yourself and keeping what you produce.

If the story of The Little Red Hen were updated by the Democrats, not only would she have to give up the bread she made from the wheat she grew but also the dinner for the day would be rotisserie chicken.

Well there you have it. They want a new country with principles (probably poor choice of words) that our founders specifically worked against. Perhaps they could all go start this new country in Honduras since it will be pretty much empty in the near future.

California and New Jersey first as trial states.

The rest will watch and judge their results.

No one allowed to move out of those states during the trial, except for an emergency reason.

3. Enact the Voter Bill of Rights that will:

Add to that list:

Disenfranchise and prevent any person who does not pay Federal Income taxes from voting in Federal elections.

Except for this one clause, the rest of the platform is stupid.

Where is the list of all the things they are going to take away from you?

I see where this is going.

I - Redistribution of wealth
II - No oil or coal
III - Raise Taxes, guaranteed income and income limits
IV - Popular vote only, no voter ID

One of the most irritatingly condescending terms that Libs toss around now is “real”.

As if they are the final arbiters of what that word means.

Grrrrr!!!

We will end unemployment in America once and for all by guaranteeing a job at a living wage for every American willing and able to work.

Every "American"? Apparently the Green Party doesn't have sufficient love for the 30 million or so of our new "friends" who ran across the border. The must be racists. < /Alinsky mode>

if the Fed bank is de-privatized and then moved into Treasury, it would then be Constitutionally prohibited from issuing fiat (non-specie) money that could be loaned to the FedGov, which is it’s primary purpose and why it was originally invented ... yet another indication the Greens are ignorant fools ...
