Paying for the border is the easy part. Getting politicians to use it to support the enforcement of immigration law is the hard part. Giving a deadbeat some work boots and a bus pass won’t necessarily lead him into productive work.
Seems to me that any money in excess of what they budget is none of their business, especially if that money is ear marked by the people into a "build the wall" category on their form 1040.
