There is no way for the Republicans to win this. TRUMP may win, but he will do that on his own. The GOP lost the House because they showed themselves to be feckless, useless frauds on many issues -- including this one. That's why Trump has been dealing only with Schumer and Pelosi on this. The furloughed workers are not going to look to Trump, they’re going to plead to their Democrat Congressmen to open negotiations, because that’s who they relate to and who they believe will be most sympathetic to their plight.
