San Fran Nan sided with the extreme left kooks rather than your average American. Of course she was going to reject it, but you had the same usual suspects around here accusing the president of caving in. The president knows his enemy and how they think. Notice when he offered to extend DACA he didn’t promise a road to citizenship or legal status. He didn’t give away the store. He only offered “coupons” to Pelosi and predictably she rejected it. He knows the political game better than Pelosi and Schumer who’ve been in Congress for decades.
And while the Republicans had the House and Senate and Presidency for two years they didn’t get the border sealed because of the desire for cheap labor.
He should have offered path to citizenship for Dreamers that arrived between 2001 and 2007 in exchange for the $5 billion, not just the three year deal.
That would become much harder for the Dems to reject. Add another year of Dreamers for each $2 billion agreed to but it has to be a wall.

I am stunned. I have been careful through my career to be open minded and do my best to keep things civil.
After reading this I learned, after several attempts that I could not comment on this without saying things I would probably regret later.

It seems obvious to me the House-Crazy faction wants to push Trump into declaring a national emergency and then impeach him for violating separation of powers or some such s#it. Meanwhile the House Not-Quite-Crazy faction will start to worry about re-election with a President who is increasingly popular amongst Hispanics if they say no to DACA and TPS. Nancy could end up dealing with the splits...(sorry for that visual...)
