He is a good governor for a state that has been trashed by libs for years. This suggestion is just stupid.
This guy is a closet Democrat running as a Repuke. Any Repuke who wins a statewide race in a very liberal state like Maryland always raises my suspicions!
Larry Hogan is likely to be as successful as his predecessor in securing a national nomination. (Remember Martin O’Malley? Most Democrats did not.)
Many people mistake Hogan’s status as “most popular governor in America” for something it is not. He is not the most popular governor in Indiana or Texas or Massachusetts. He has the highest home-state approval rating among all governors in the country.
DJT got over 50 percent of the primary vote in Maryland’s 2016 spring election. Hogan’s very high approval among Pubbies here in Maryland would have translate to votes - - and a large number of us would oppose him in a 2020 primary contest. We hope that he will realize that. I would rather he fade away than have to be knocked down off of a high horse.
