Documents indicate detailed plans for Trump Tower Moscow: report (BuzzFeed)

BuzzFeed News has obtained files that the news outlet says contradict President Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani's recent claims that there were "no plans" drawn up for Trump Tower Moscow.

The online outlet reported on the files on Tuesday, after Giuliani in a New Yorker interview claimed that plans for Trump Tower Moscow did not extend beyond "a letter of intent."

"The only thing that ever happened was that [Trump's team] submitted a letter of intent about a possible project in Moscow that never went beyond that," Giuliani said. "No money was ever paid, no plans were ever made. There were no drafts. Nothing in the file. Nothing ever happened to it."

The Moscow talks did result in what is known as a letter of intent — a nonbinding agreement that laid the groundwork for formal discussions about the project – which was previously published by CNN.

But other documents show that plans for Trump Tower Moscow were laid out by a number of different players, according to Buzzfeed News.

Buzzfeed News reported documents the outlet has obtained over more than a year of reporting show that architects and developers drew up detailed plans for a possible Trump Tower Moscow.

A New York-based architect in 2015 completed plans for how the Russian property could look, imagining a building that could have been 100 stories high with prominent Trump logos, according to documents obtained by Buzzfeed News. The architect was in contact with Trump's then-attorney Michael Cohen.

According to a letter of intent signed by Trump in September 2015, Trump Tower Moscow would hold “approximately 250 first class, luxury residential condominiums," the online outlet reported.

A local developer was going to build Trump Tower Moscow, which could have included a spa and fitness facility dubbed “The Spa By Ivanka Trump," according to Buzzfeed.

Who is leaking this?

The leaks are coming faster.

Is someone afraid the Mueller report is going to be a dud so they want to get out as much as possible before the final report is written (and likely not given to the public)?

The Hillary crowd, of course.

So what if he (a businessman) planned to build a hotel in Moscow?

Buzzfeed has no idea about the difference between an architectural concept document and detailed building drawings.

In this modern world, CAD generated buildings can be created in a short time. There was never a proposal on property, no deal was made. This is just insane hate of Trump, causing complicit media to output more hate.

Apparently the media is melting down and refusing to apologize for all of their lies this past week. Don’t abandon the narratives.

You’d think they were trying to keep some untruths alive until election day.

So? Is it against some law for an American to build a hotel in Moscow? This is nothing, again.

That wouldn’t be a leak. WHat Guiliani was referring to as “plans” were “arrangements with government officials in Moscow”.

What Buzzfeed is discussing is the actual architectural plans which would likely have been created in order to show what they were going to build, and I would suspect would be filed with the request before a “letter of intent” was signed, or maybe after if you are trying not to spend too much money.

He was a real estate developer who built facilities all over God’s green earth. In Moscow? Why not? These people are suffering from mad cow disease or something; they couldn’t possibly have been born this stupid.

Exactly.

I am not in the real estate business, so I may be off a little but I suspect that it would cost $1,000,000 to draw a detailed plan.

Because a truly detailed plan would be a detailed drawing of each of the main rooms, a typical drawing of the smaller rooms and apartments, a complete detail of the property down to where each shrub would be planted....a huge amount of work.

Detailed drawing come at a high price.

Now a concept drawing probably can be done in less than a day.

Trump is not dumb. He would never spend that kind of money, no businessman would, until a contract was signed and a reasonable down payment was in the bank.

Too often, deals of this type blow up before they are finalized and no one would take such a risk.

“In this modern world, CAD generated buildings can be created in a short time. “

You’d literally take one of the current Trump tower designs, cut and paste in a few floors, and hit render. As little as one day of work.

Yes sir. That is how it works from a pattern.

I planned retail stores for 5 years, none of mine were like that. And I only drew the existing building structure and worked for there. Except for a very few that I worked from an architect blueprint. (those often had a fuzzy factor).

It is good to see you around, it’s been a while.

22 Jan: The Hill: How the Clinton machine flooded the FBI with Trump-Russia dirt … until agents bit
By John Solomon
When at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. That’s what Hillary Clinton’s machine did in 2016, eventually getting the FBI to bite on an uncorroborated narrative that Donald Trump and Russia were trying to hijack the presidential election.

Between July and October 2016, Clinton-connected lawyers, emissaries and apologists made more than a half-dozen overtures to U.S. officials, each tapping a political connection to get suspect evidence into FBI counterintelligence agents’ hands, according to internal documents and testimonies I reviewed and interviews I conducted.

In each situation, the overture was uninvited. And as the election drew closer, the point of contact moved higher up the FBI chain...
