The steam has gone out of globalisation

WHEN AMERICA took a protectionist turn two years ago, it provoked dark warnings about the miseries of the 1930s. Today those ominous predictions look misplaced. Yes, China is slowing. And, yes, Western firms exposed to China, such as Apple, have been clobbered. But in 2018 global growth was decent, unemployment fell and profits rose. In November President Donald Trump signed a trade pact with Mexico and Canada. If talks over the next month lead to a deal with Xi Jinping, relieved markets will conclude that the trade war is about political theatre and squeezing a few concessions from China, not detonating global commerce.

[ The steam has gone out of Globalisation ]

Only for a moment. Give it time.

Unfortunately.

This is a man-made religion.

I couldn’t read it. (I won’t subscribe) but globalization is NOT dead nor ever will be until the end of time. Since the days of Nimrod, the dream has been to rule the world. That dream never dies.

Agreed. There’s plenty going on behind the scenes that we will never be privy to.

Yes, it has been prophesied. It will happen.

It will be funky and not unified.

They shall not cleave to one another even as iron is not mixed with miry clay. (paraphrase of verse)

Daniel 2:43 King James Version

43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

I agree that globalization is not dead. The German playwright Bertoldt Brecht said of Hitler, "The bitch that bore him is in heat again". This stuff never goes away, it constantly shows up in a new form.

However, the other quote, "Socialism is all well and good until you run out of other peoples' money" comes into play. Globalization is global socialism and has largely been funded because America has allowed itself to be totally ripped off by other countries for decades. Trump is stopping that, and globalization is running out of other peoples' money. This is a severe setback. If Trump gets 8 years, I think Americans are going to realize that we are rich again. That happens when you no longer let people rip you off.

Globalization, world government, is mostly a European desire.

There is no such desire in the east where the future is now happening.

Stodgy old Europe can no longer compete with the Pacific rim.

Don’t believe that for a second. They are just staying under the radar keeping a low profile for now. But when the next Democrat president , which will be in 2021 unless the Republicans counter or neutralize the Democrat’s new voting system[vote harvesting], comes on the scene they [Globalists, Globalism] will rear its ugly head once more.

Absolutely, It’s actually the theme of the Davos meeting this year. “Globalization 4.0”. It’s perpetual.

The EU needs a European Trump to erase their desire for globalism.

A past article said they had a date set (2028 ?) for globalization to become law. They have plans. They have money. They have motivation.

Not just the money, which they own all of. They alos own all the debt, Us... They own us. That’s what the Federal reserve and National debt is all about.

They are going to make us pay up the marker or submit to rule at some point pretty soon. We went off and got stupid by letting hem get the upper hand like that.

The globalist want total control of the entire planet. Every country, with the U.S. being the biggest prize and roadblock. They’ve been planning this for many decades. They aren’t going anywhere.

And that is why the Davos Gang is trying to push Climate Change hysteria - one last attempt at Globalisation via “Green Initiatives.”
