"...with the administration’s new regulations on bump stocks (which allow a semiautomatic firearm to shoot more than one round per trigger pull..."

Another article in which the author demonstrates that he is a moron.

Second Amendment supporters felt optimism that the first year of the Trump administration would bring good things to firearm makers, sellers, and users.

Stupid me. I expected that DC under full-GOP control would pay back the gun rights supporters who dutifully vote lockstep Republican in election after election and repeal some of the more pointless gun laws that we've had to put up with for decades; laws such as bans on silencers and short-barreled rifles, roadblocks making FFLs difficult and expensive, and maybe even repealing 1986's assault weapon ban.

So many opportunities presented to supporters of the Second Amendment.

Instead, we got a bumpstock ban.

And today the NRA is sending me mail, asking for money, warning that Nancy Pelosi is coming after my guns.

I promise.

Guns and ammo are cheap and plentiful right now. What’s not to like?

The tragic part of all this? The time will come again when gun and ammo manufacturers will be firmly back in the driver’s seat. Plan accordingly.

When prices are low, add to your stockpile. Have enough to last you through eight years or more.

If banning a reporter us a violation of the 1st amendment and illegal isn’t banning a single gun a violation of the 2nd amendment?

“...That buying pattern suggests a population preparing for war, not hunting. ...”

What it suggests is half of the country - the NORMAL AMERICAN HALF - responding to being threatened by the psychotic liberal communist democrat half.

Our response as Americans, to ANY wannabes - is and always WILL BE - “Come and Take Them” - along with “GFYourselves” and giant Middle Finger.

The Republican Congress had the chance to pass nationwide concealed carry reciprocity and failed to do it.

Also could have easily have gotten rid of the stupid regulations surrounding supressors.
