A Guatemalan man who has been deported four times is charged with three counts of "transporting an alien for financial gain" by a federal grand jury.
Rolando Gomez-Gomez was also charged with one count of "reentry of a previously removed alien."
Gomez-Gomez was arrested in Summit County on Tuesday after a traffic stop by a Summit County Deputy Sheriff who is also a task force officer for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations.
The deputy asked Gomez-Gomez, who was driving a van, for his license.
The deputy says Gomez-Gomez gave him a fraudulent Guatemalan driver's license.
During the stop, the deputy noticed several male passengers, including children, in the back of his van.
After further investigation by the deputy and ICE, nine people, including three children were taken to the ICE office in West Valley City.
Three of those people were also charged with "illegal reentry of a previously removed alien."
Police say Gomez-Gomez has been deported from the U.S. four times.

But if he had just taken US 40 through Hideout and Heber, he woulda fit right in: there are so many illegals in those two towns now that they openly fly Mexican flags and claim it as “our land that you stole”.
That of course would be news to the Ute indians and the original Mormon settlers of 170 years ago but hey, details, right?
The Church will undoubtedly jump in on this guy’s side since they’d love to convert his cargo and have them settle in Utah where they can vote to keep Mittens in office, so don’t look forward to too much of this in the future, the lobbying to kill it will be intense.

Lock them all up for several years before deporting them. See if their home countries can find a crime to lock them up for once they are deported.

He’s safe in Utah where he will blend right in with many thousands of others. If he joins a gang the ACLU will have his back. And the Utah media will refer to him as a “migrant” an “immigrant” or “undocumented”.
You could charge an UBER driver with ‘transporting aliens for financial gain’, too.
