Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has privately cautioned President Donald Trump not to declare a national emergency to build his southern border wall, The Washington Post reported Friday. He warned Trump that such a declaration might split the GOP and that Congress could pass a resolution opposing it, two Republican sources familiar with the conversation told the newspaper. In such a situation Trump might be forced into the first veto of his presidency — against his own party, McConnell pointed out, according to the sources...Some GOP legislators have already spoken out against an emergency declaration — and against another government shutdown. GOP Florida Sen. Marco Rubio said that an emergency declaration was a “terrible idea” and that he would oppose it. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) said last month that to “give the president authority basically to do that all by himself would, I think, stretch constitutional boundaries.”

Texas border is secure. That keeps lawsuits in the Fifth Circuit, out of the perilous Ninth. Texas makes it happen.
THE PLAN-—Texas governor Greg Abbott formally requests Pres Trump issue a declaration of emergency.
1) Abbott declares a state-level emergency.
2) Abbott documents an emergency by asking Texas officials to compile incidents of <><>violence,
<><> gang activity, <><>drug-smuggling, <><>human-smuggling, <><> sex-trafficking, etc.
3) Abbott invokes Article 4, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution that the federal government “shall” protect
Texas against “invasion” by armed gangs and criminals.
4) The Texas Legislature passes a resolution invoking Article 4, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution that the
federal government “shall” protect Texas against “domestic violence” spread from Mexico across the border,
including armed gangs and criminals, drug-smuggling, human-smuggling, sex slavery, etc.

Those of us that want (additional) walls are purposely misrepresented as thinking exactly that. It’s real clear to anyone looking at the facts that additional wall building is crucial to any plan to reduce illegal border crossing. Those that favor it want to fix the problem. Those that don’t are fine with illegals doing whatever they want at American’s expense.

If trump upsets McConnell and Romney and Collins and Murkowski, he’ll win the 2020 primary in a landslide.
No; they don’t care how thin the façade of their being a separate party from the Democrats is at this point. They’ve been like this for the better part of the last half-century of the previous century too.

And there you have it - our political leadership has now proven that they will NOT defend United States citizens but care only about their own power - it’s time to put pressure on all of our representatives both democrat and republican and demand the wall - March knto the capital and lay siege to their offices until they submit to OUR WILL.

That destruction opens the gate and accelerates the already increasing rate of growth of the American Left/DSA/CPUSA. That growth necessarily increases the likelihood of bloodshed, destabilization and foreign involvement.
The nation stands to pay dearly for the GOPe's sellout/false allegiance. The challenge is to accurately identify the tipping point and take timely and effective action to avoid a collapse.
No doubt the Chamber of Cheap Labor has warned the Turtle that they will cut off GOP campaign cash if President Trump crosses them. He should tell us that in the State of the Union Address tomorrow night. A strong helping of truth would be a political laxative.
