They’re trying to base this change on technology that doesn’t exist yet, or is in it’s infancy and just not efficient enough, or takes a lot of carbon emission to get the hardware for the “green” technology. It’s a fools errand at this point in time.

It’s pretty disrespectful to the capabilities inherent in the earth too. The earth has been through far worse.

This sounds, at best, like the whining of people who don’t have the motive to adapt. One does not want gross pollution, and it’s easier to prevent that kind of pollution than to have to shield against it.
