A week ago there was one more thing I didn’t know about Jussie Smollett: “what’s a Jussie Smollett? Is it some sort of tropical bird or something? I had never heard the name Jussie Smollett or seen his face, and somehow, that was all I needed to know about him.

Thankfully he was able to make it to the nearest hospital to receive treatment and recover,
But he didn’t go to a hospital, or drop his sandwich, or ask his doorman to call an ambulance.
