When it is obvious that he is going to be exposed, Obama, Holder and Emanuel will lean on the Chicago cops to quietly drop the issue. The media will do the same.

Redacted evidence? Who does she think she is, Hillary Clinton?

Wouldn’t someone use bleach to clean an object that had been used during sex?

“Meantime, police also are investigating a half-empty hot sauce bottle with a clear liquid in it, which recently was found near the scene of the alleged attack...The bottle was not found during early evidence searches, but discovered later by a newspaper reporter.

Does anyone else find this odd? Either the police weren’t particularly competent in their search for evidence or the bottle was planted after the fact.

Yep, I believe it. A reporter “found” something that trained investigators missed? And, how many days later?
Yep, I believe it.
Officer #1, I just don’t know how we could have missed it.
Officer # 2, well we just planted it today, give it a rest will ya.

Another theory here: maybe Smollett is not really a homosexual, and he was in some heterosexual thing (like with a woman). Now hold on here - so if the word gets out that he is NOT a homosexual, his career would be over.
After all, even if a young black man is good at his acting job ..... well, it sort of makes as much (or more) sense as some of the other theories.

Unless there's a recording of the conversation or exchanges of texts this will do little to help the investigation.

All we will get is when the call was made and when it ended.

It will help with the timeline but it won't prove or disprove the attack happened.

The only hope the CPD have now is the longer this investigation goes on the more likely it is for Jussie to trip up.

https://nypost.com/2019/02/11/jussie-smolletts-neighbors-cast-doubt-on-his-attack-story/

Last week, The Post traced Smollett’s likely route to the underpass from a 24-hour Subway sandwich shop where he bought a tuna sandwich and a salad.

Near the foot of a stairwell to the Loews, The Post found an empty hot sauce bottle that was partially filled with a clear liquid that smelled like bleach.

The Post alerted police, who seized the bottle. Guglielmi said it was turned over to the FBI for analysis.

The FBI declined to comment.

The New York Post does not identify the reporter.

I occasionally use bleach for projects in my workshop. I get it from the bottle under my wife’s laundry sink. I have to be VERY careful not to spill any of it any where. Any drips on clothes, carpet, rugs, or furniture will show up as white blobs that are permanent. Had ANY bleach at all been poured on Smollett, his clothes would show evidence of it. No white spots, no bleach.

The police will be equally interested in whoever “redacted” the phone calls. That isn’t something everybody can do.

Yeah, right. We believe that. Hot sauce bottles with bleach "found by a reporter".

Meantime, police also are investigating a half-empty hot sauce bottle with a clear liquid in it, which recently was found near the scene of the alleged attack. Sources said the bottle smelled like bleach, which might corroborate Smollett’s claim his attackers poured a liquid chemical on him.

Either Hillary dropped the Hot Sauce bottle, or perhaps there are IV drug users (shocking!) in downtown Chicago who use bleach to clean their needles.

“Thus far, police have said they have no reason to doubt Smollett’s allegations and are not investigating him.”

No reason to doubt, really? How about no actual evidence.

The police probably have the full conversations picked up by their surveillance gear in the area.
