“Broward County, FL election head Brenda Snipes is back in the news, as a former candidate who ran against Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the 2016 Democratic primary wondered aloud in a tweet why the Department of Justice never prosecuted her for illegally destroying paper ballots from the race.”
That paragraph is quite the word teaser. I had to read it many times to figure out who the tweet was from. If might have been a bit better if they had actually named the guy during that ramble. I guess that is why my English teacher complained about run on sentences.
You are absolutely correct.
Since I already knew the basic facts of this case, I just casually glanced over the text.
After going back and re-reading it, that first sentence is a total mess.
I recently read that one third of online news text is generated by computer software.
BUMP! I always read Rick Moran with one eye closed. He needs some basic English composition education.
Most of his articles, like this one, consist of large portions taken verbatim from other sources. I’ve also seen articles by him on pjmedia, same MO.
Most Am Thinker articles have some CV info on the author at the end of the article. Not so for Mr. Moran.
