Lawyers for 16-year-old Nicholas Sandmann, the Covington Catholic High School junior who faced off with Omaha Nation elder Nathan Phillips on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial last month, have filed a $250 million lawsuit against The Washington Post, one of many newspapers to report on viral video of the incident.
This is only the beginning, said the attorneys, Lin Wood and Todd McMurtry, on their firms website, noting that it was the first lawsuit on Sandmanns behalf.
The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in Kentucky, Reuters reported, and it states that the sum which is for compensatory and punitive damages is what Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos paid to buy the newspaper.

If Zimmerman was SOL (via the MSM’s EDITING of the phone call to push their ‘racist’ narrative), I’d say this ‘suit has even less of a chance.
IOW, the Law is an @ss and LONG dead.
Sandmann could OWN the WP. That would be cool.
It’s too much money. I see how they were mistreated and as a result they were almost expelled before things got back to normal, but I was almost expelled two times and neither time was my fault, so where is my $500 million.
Good. If I were rich, I would pay the legal fees.
Say you run an HR department. This young man’s resume hits your desk. Are you even going to give him an interview? My bet is, no matter what he decides to do, no employer will hire him, no company will use him. This kid will need money to see him through the rest of his life if that happens.
I hope he bankrupts that rag.
Were you slimed by the press on a national level? Receive death threats? Trend on Twitter for a week?
No?
It’s not a matter of possibly being expelled; the “media” put a marker on this kid’s head by falsely accusing him... nationally.
Whatever Big Media settles for will allow them to never actually apologize, and to write off their loss as a necessary expense in their war against America and all for which we stand.
Take Bezos’ share of the paper as compensation. Nick Sandmann, boy publisher. LOL.
Lin wood is suing CNN next week.
