The CPD police chief is justifiably furious, because this makes any compliant about real racism look like a fraud. And he’s 100% African American (meaning a descendant of African slaves), while “Jussie” is half white. His father is a Russian Jewish immigrant and his mother is black. I don’t know her background and if her family was native born African American or otherwise where her family came from. But Jussie is riding in on somebody else’s suffering.
