Quibble: Priests aren't supposed to confess to superiors unless no other option is available. It's a conflict-of-interest thing. They are supposed to seek out a peer or subordinate instead.
Ah, I guess I could see that, but it would seem that supervision is the right place to go when a problem like this is being faced.
