Minnesota congresswoman accused of violating immigration law
Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Democrat from Minnesota, a Muslim and a newcomer to Congress, already is causing controversy, with a series of anti-Semitic comments, her defense of al-Qaida, her explosions at reporters and her alignment with an extreme left faction in the Democratic Party.
She’s already the target of a petition demanding her resignation.
Now, the Department of Homeland Security is being urged to investigate her and begin deportation or other removal proceedings.
The petition was submitted to DHS by former Justice Department prosecutor Larry Klayman, who this week added a demand that the House of Representatives “investigate, consider and take remedial action” on the issue.
The latest controversy was explained by Siraj Hashmi in a commentary in the Washington Examiner.
Hashmi said the Democrats face “a political crisis” with a handful of new lawmakers having drawn “the ire from both sides about their position on the U.S.’s relationship with Israel.”
Omar, along with fellow Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., were criticized for “remarks about Israel that were rooted in anti-Semitism.”

What is the basis for the deportation? Did they find something in the law that pertains to her specifically or are they just blustering?

WRONG. She is from Cedar/Riverside in Minneapolis. We consider that area to be a separate country.
I have read that while it IS TRUE that she’s currently married to her brother, her original husband fathered all the children. Evidently, the real husband for some reason could not come to the US, so she “married” her brother as a ruse to gain entrance to our country.
...and did she disclose all this upon entering the US and applying for residency and citizenship. What else did she fail to disclose?
Deportation needs to include frog-marching her out of the House as a good object lesson to certain other guilty parties.

Absolutely amazing that DHS has not already looked into Omar’s sham marriage. What the hell is that organization doing — watching porn on their computers?
Why would we want to deport her? Omar is the gift that keeps on giving, and with her help, Trump will win re-election by a landslide and the House will turn Red again in 2020.
She’s just one of many in that party.

In 1995, Omar and her family’s application to be resettled as refugees in the U.S. was approved, and they initially settled in Arlington, Virginia.[9][12] In 1995, they moved to Minneapolis, where she learned English. Her father worked initially as a taxi driver, later as a postal office worker.[9] He and Omar’s grandfather emphasized during her upbringing the importance of democracy, and she accompanied her grandfather to caucus meetings at age 14, serving as his interpreter.[10][13] Omar became a U.S. citizen in 2000 when she was 17 years old.[14][9] She has spoken about being bullied for wearing a hijab during her time in Virginia, recalling classmates sticking gum on it, pushing her down stairs, and jumping her when changing for gym class.[9] Omar remembers her father’s reaction to these incidents, “They are doing something to you because they feel threatened in some way by your existence.”[9]

Can anybody tell me if incest is legal in the USA, because if it is not that alone should get her deported.
If naturalized citizens commit immigration fraud I believe their citizenship can be stripped.
